Devotion
After Mark tells us that Jesus proclaimed the Kingdom of God was already underway, he continues by telling us how the Kingdom message will be sent out. Jesus calls individuals to follow Him and be his messengers. When we accept His gift of salvation, we are automatically given the privilege of introducing others to Jesus. We are His messengers to reach out into the entire world. If the magnitude of the opportunity seems too much, let us remember that we can do it one person at a time. Years ago, Frank Laubach started a program with the slogan, “Each one teach one.” That is evangelism in its simplest form.
Do you know of anyone in your circle of friendship who doesn’t know about the gift of eternal life which Jesus gives? Tell them what Jesus means to you and what He wants to do for everyone.
