I believe in Jesus, I believe he is the Son of God, I believe he died and rose again, I believe he paid for us all. And I believe he's here now, standing in our midst. Here with the power to heal now, and the grace to forgive.
This song is not liturgically seasonal but it is one that clearly centers on Easter, the ground of our faith. Without Easter there would be no Christmas; there would be no Christ; there would be no Christian church! How thrilling it is to sing this confession of faith in Jesus!

Prayer
O Holy God, Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for his death and resurrection that we might live. Help our inner joy ignite daily confession of you in our thoughts, words and deeds. Amen.
