Verse 26He caused the east wind to blow in the heavens, and by his power he led out the south wind;

Devotion
Mortals ate of the bread of angels; God sent them food in abundance...And they ate and were well filled, for God gave them what they craved. (vs. 25 & 29)
I love fresh, ripe strawberries. I craved them when pregnant with our first child. A restaurant near us served fresh strawberry pie and we were their best customers. The morning after our son’s birth, my husband brought a whole fresh strawberry pie to the hospital, given as a celebration gift by the restaurant owner. To me, that pie was "the bread of angels." We ate the whole pie instead of the breakfast tray and were well filled. Strawberries always remind me of that special time in my life when we were very grateful for God’s abundant gift of new life to us.
What is your "bread of angels"? Eat some today, be well filled and give God thanks.
Prayer
Let us pray for the world, that where people know scarcity of food and water they would also know a united effort to help them in their need. Gracious God, hear our prayer. Amen.
