Devotion
Psalm 130 rewritten:
Lord, my heart is heavy as I try to tell you my troubles. How can you possibly listen to one such as I? I hope you will hear my words and my sighs. If you keep records, is there any hope for any of us? We dare to hope, for we have heard that you are a forgiving God. If so, how can we not stand in awe? We await your return, Lord, when will we get to see your face? We want everyone to have the hope we have. You keep your promises. You alone can save forever, save all sinners, all with whom you have covenanted. Amen.
