Devotion
It can be so easy for us to see current events happening around us and assume God’s divine hand plays an active role. We forget about the sin present in our lives and humanity’s inability to provide a voice of Christ’s peace in times of struggle. But what looks like hard or rough times now, may indeed be just the next bump on the road back to God. This God of the future continually calls us from the other side of any daunting obstacle we may find on the road of life.
Prayer
God of the Future, let me continue to hear your call from the other side of the mountain I see in my life. Amen.
