Verse 24"No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
Devotion
Jesus says the two masters, God and wealth, are mutually exclusive. You cannot serve both. Serving God does not require wealth. Serving wealth does not even factor God into the equation. We are wealthy people, but do we use that wealth to serve God?
Prayer
All things come from you, O Lord. All that I have comes from you. Teach me to use your gifts so that I may serve you only. Amen.
