Verse 1Save me, O God, by your name, and vindicate me by your might.

Verse 4But surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
Verse 5He will repay my enemies for their evil. In your faithfulness, put an end to them.
Verse 6With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to you; I will give thanks to your name, O Lord, for it is good.
Verse 7For he has delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.
Devotion
Charles Haddon Spurgeon once said:
“When you have no helpers, see all your helpers in God.
When you have many helpers, see God in all your helpers.
When you have nothing but God, see all in God;
when you have everything, see God in everything.
Under all conditions, stay thy heart only on the Lord.”
Prayer
Oh God I thank Thee
That when I am weak,
Thou art ever strong
And patient.
I thank Thee
That when my foolish
Heart wanders and goes astray,
Pursuing me, Thou art still.
I thank Thee
That in a world of ceaseless change,
Thou art always
And still the same.
I thank Thee
That my salvation
On my frail shoulders does not rest,
But on the sinless Lamb depends.
My God, I thank Thee
That, though I am prone to doubt,
Thou art not a man
That you should Lie.
Praise be to God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
Changeless in perfection, love, and mercy,
World without end. Amen. (Author unknown)
