Devotion
Most of us can name a house or two that has been a place of abundance for us. We may recall a grandparent’s house where there were always treats for a hungry child or a coach’s home where a splendid table was set whether the team had won or lost. Today the psalmist reminds us that in God’s presence there is refuge and plenty for all the peoples of the earth. As we continue these last days of our Lenten pilgrimage, we are reminded of the generous, loving Host whose arms stretch out to welcome all.
Prayer
Gracious God, help me to remember that you provide all that I need and that your generosity extends to all the peoples of the earth. In Christ’s name I pray. Amen.
