Verse 24O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.

Verse 26There go the ships, and Leviathan that you formed to sport in it.

Verse 31May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works-
Verse 32who looks on the earth and it trembles, who touches the mountains and they smoke.
Verse 33I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.
Verse 34May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.

Devotion
I am constantly amazed whenever I go into a grocery store. The choices seem to be limitless. Where to begin? Reading this psalm reminds me where all things come from. It doesn’t come from just the farmer or the food processor or the grocery store, but it all comes from the Creator who gives us our food, our clothing and our dwellings in due season. This is not just for us but for all of creation.
So often we get caught up in the details of daily living that we forget that it is God upon whom we depend. It is when that realization hits that occasions the singing of praises. We say too, “may the glory of the Lord endure forever, and that the Lord rejoice in all of his works.” There is no higher praise that can be given.
Prayer
Gracious Lord, giver of all things, all that we are given is from your loving hand. We thank you and praise you for sustaining us so that we may glorify you in all that we do. Amen.
