Verse 16Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. Verse 17When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Verse 18And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Verse 19Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Verse 20and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Devotion
No matter who we are, no matter how perfect our life may seem, there will come a time when we walk through the valley. Whether it is an illness, a death in the family, the end of a marriage or the loss of a job, we will all face some type of struggle in life. We have, however, the promise right here in scripture that God will always be with us. God has promised to never leave us nor forsake us. I can think of no greater comfort than to know that my Lord and my God is with me every step of the way, and will even carry me until I’m strong enough to walk alongside God again.
Prayer
Healing God, thank you that you have promised to never leave our side. Amen.
