Verse 1Praise the Lord! Happy are those who fear the Lord, who greatly delight in his commandments.
Devotion
Who was it who said to me, “Let’s go?” I was glad then, I am glad now, that somebody uttered God’s invitation—with words or with actions—“Let’s go.” Am I to be that person now for others? Are there those who would also be glad to hear the invitation to go to the house of the Lord? Where? Across the sea? Across the street? Across my dining table? Across the coffee machine at work? I was glad, maybe they will be too. Maybe if I just ask. I was glad. Weren’t you? Aren’t you now?
Prayer
O God, we thank you, for you sent those who said to us, “Let’s go to house of the Lord.” Help us continue in our way toward your house and let us be the instruments of your invitation to others along our way. Amen.
