Devotion
If I am honest, I would admit that I do not always have a heart of praise. I can get discouraged and negative with pressures of work, school and family. This week at Bible camp is an opportunity for a personal retreat, time to get away and to be in a place that focuses on praising God. We praise God every time we turn around at camp and it becomes a natural part of how we express our joy of being a Christian. It is powerful to witness the praise of our youth as they gather in worship, campfires, mealtimes, cabin time and even during camp games. This morning we faced each other in worship and blessed each other with the words of our psalm. What a wonderful reminder of the importance of keeping an attitude of praise in our lives and especially among those to whom we minister.
Prayer
May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face to shine upon us that your way may be known upon earth. Let all the peoples praise you, O God. Let all the peoples praise you. Amen.
