On October 13, Living Lutheran published an interview with Mary Hess, professor of educational leadership, on “Becoming a White Antiracist,” a book she coauthored with Stephen Brookfield. “In Christian faith, … we talk about a God in whose love we are all drawn, and that love draws us toward each other. And one of the things about seeing racist structures is understanding how they have stopped us from following that love,” she said.
